Genso Suikoden V Characters: Gizel, Dolph, Sialeeds, Lyon, Prince, & Kyle (from left to right, kind of) It's been a while since I did anything new for Suikoden (there wasn't even any Suikoden games among all those video game photos), this isn't really new either, as the idea was sketched out a while back and it just took me forever to get everything colored to this point, with starting a new job & being sick for a while. I’m surprised that I stuck with coloring this drawing for such a long time, but I really didn’t have any very exciting new ideas coming up while working on this to distract me, not exactly sure if that’s a good or bad sign…

I failed again to try to learn how to use prisma colors efficiently on this, I was able to color Dolph fast and easy enough, he looks a little "snowy" and not too bad but I just lost it after that, applying many layers of colors while working on the rest of the drawing. It looks rich enough the way I like, but I didn't really gain much from the experience.

I didn't change things too much from the sketch except making Dolph & Gizel’s ears bigger as they were too small before. Other than that I'm kind of happy that it's somewhat finished even though there's not a background, I thought about putting the Dawn & Twilight Runes in the back but they are hardly recognizable when half hidden, so I want to think about it before going back to fix some things up and add in a back drop.
